Before installing on macOS
Unsigned build (Apple Developer account planned later): macOS blocks it on first launch. A single step is enough, done once.
- Drag the app into the Applications folder.
- In Terminal, paste this command, then open the app normally:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/HomeTheaterMaestro.app - Without Terminal (macOS Sequoia 15+): after a refused launch, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway".
⚠️ On any macOS alert, click Cancel, never "Move to Trash". If the message says "damaged", that app was installed before a signing fix on our side, and the steps above will not help: download again from this page, which always serves the latest version.
